The Awful Show for both MTAC and ACEN. I'm in the process of duplicating both the CDR media as well as the DVD media. I'll have Stickers, Awful Hits CDs as well as the Year One DVD from the Awful Show podcast. You all should check out the live stuff. Click that link up there and find out more about the crew.
Update Two: I didn't finish a single costume for MTAC or ACEN. If any of you are part of the military and can get ahold of an extra set of BDUs, please IM/Call/Comment. I'd like to at least do a "closet cosplay" from MGS or something simple.
Update Three: This is a shocker. Last year, it was two days before ACEN that I got my lanyard and badge. This year, nearly a month before. I was in shock. It's nothing like last year's badge, but it's still pretty swank. It's blue and silver It's like a mix of lighting gel and a holo-foil. I'll snap a shot of it here in a bit and update this post.
Update Four: I have an idea for a podcast that would be hosted once a week. It'd cover current events, pop culture, video games and opinion pieces. The location for now would be
Talkshoe.com until I could get up enough money for a proper hosting location. We'd still use Talkshoe for the live feed, but the proper hosting of the file would be on our personal server. So if you have anything you'd like to contribute to the show, let me know. The more the merrier in this situation.
Update Five: My little one finally said Grandma. That has my mother so happy, especially because she has Dani like 5 days a week. It tickled her so much when she said it. She also said 'Nisha' as well, which also had my sister super proud. She has to be the greatest aunt ever. I've been in her debt for a while, but the past year and half totally takes the cake there.
